Sweet Tea Room

My last purchase at a flea market, is a tea and coffee set complete with all the pieces! Teapot, coffee pot, six tea cups, six coffee cups, sugar bowl and milk jug.

It is a German porcelain factory - Scherzer, Bavaria, Germany. It seems that today has become an Italian brand (?)

E' una manifattura di porcellana tedesca - Scherzer, Bavaria, Germany - e da una ricerca sul web pare sia oggi un marchio italiano (possibile?) 

I have prepared for this afternoon tea Irish scones, a classic recipe taken from a book of Irish cuisine.

Ho preparato per questo pomeriggio di té degli scones, i tipici dolcetti irlandesi con una ricetta classica presa da un libro di cucina irlandese.

Lilliput Lane's "Swaledale Teas" is based on Muker Village Tea Shop

Obviously I looked for the original building that inspired the Tea room, so I found that is located at Muker, a small village in  the North Yorkshire. 
The Tea room really exists, and has been perfectly recreated with teapot sign!!:)

Ovviamente ho cercato sul web la costruzione originale che ha ispirato la creazione della Tea room di Lilliput Lane così ho scoperto che si trova a Muker, un piccolo villaggio nel North Yorkshire. La sala da té esiste davvero, ed è stata perfettamente ricreata anche con l'insegna con la teiera!:)
